Furthering my love of all things weathermen, excuse me, weatherpeople, related
funny, weather April 2nd, 2008This was on Slate under the heading, “30 percent chance you’ll hate this weatherman.” I’m sure weather/meteorologist humor ranks right up there with Math humor for most people, but I love this.

what the frank?
i see a 100% chance of some pretty lame weatherman antics.
i wonder if jonathon chuang wants to get some of the other guys from the office to take jim for a little walk out to the woodshed . . . if so, i hope they call me, so i can watch.
now i know where that dopey unfunny kid from 3rd grade ended up. i thought we had sealed the well after we tossed him in. hmmm.

this just continues to fuel my fascination! when did the act of telling people your guess (albeit fueled by education and computer models) about tomorrow’s weather become the fast-track to celebrity?
And why does it take 3 minutes (every 10 minutes in the morning) to tell me it’s going to be 50 degress and Sunny today, but tomorrow it might snow?
I’m probably more fascinated by the doppler 3000 (or 5000, or whatever they recently upgraded to) but I’m so intrigued by the devotion to exhaustive weather coverage.
